KAKIPHOTO APRIL | PANORAMA

MEDTECH had recently organized another KakiPhoto outing in UTP, on April 14, 2013. It was opened to all UTP students that were interested or wanted to dive into photography. This time, KakiPhoto April was held at the Oval Park. As for the theme, the one chosen for this month was Panoramic Photography.

KakiPhoto April was participated by both MEDTECH committee members and UTP students. Only few participants came and all of them were MEDTECH committees. Their absences were highly affected by the weather during the evening.

How to make a panorama photo:

  1. Change to manual mode. Adjust the exposure (aperture, shutter speed and ISO)
  2. Choose a view and stand at one place without moving your legs, shoot 180° or 360° of the view. Make sure the level of the camera at each photos is the same so that you’ll get a better result.
  3. Transfer the pictures to your laptop.
  4. They are many ways to stich the pictures, one of them is by using Photoshop software.
  5. Open Photoshop > File > Automate > Photomerge > Choose pictures to be stitched > Okay
  6. Let the software do its work!
  7. Crop unnecessary part.
  8. Done!
